Organized in 1960, the Gilbert Historical Museum moved to the old elementary which was deemed a historical building in 1980. The museum is only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and kids under age five are free.

The Camelback Golf Club is hoe to the John Jacobs/Shelby Futch Golf Academy. This excellent instructional opportunity allows both new and seasoned golfers the chance to learn from the experts. One-on-one training and group lessons are both available. One popular option is a complete, private golf makeover.
